In 1969 Yossi Gino was sent by "Mossad" to Iraq
An event that marked the course of the life of Yossi Gino was being a member of the delegation to the Kurdish rebels in Iraq. "Being with a small group of Israelis in a brutal enemy country thousands of kilometers away from the Israeli border completely cut off from the state, in a poor tribe of rebels, dwellers of highland and caves was an extraordinary experience of fear and anxiety in terms of sustainability (about six months). On the other hand, the return to Israel (alive!), was not as great." Gino wrote.
